Do you want a quick app to get the current scores from MLB games? If that app also included a quick MLB news recap, that would probably be a good thing right?

Well this app does both of those things in a very fast and fluid manner. Get in, get what you want, and get on with life.

I wrote this with my kids. We watch a lot of Mariners games living in Seattle, but still want to check the scores of other teams while at the park or on the go. We thought a big font and easy load was the best way, and we hope you agree.

This is one of those glance and go type of applications. You launch, get the MLB scores, and probably get out. If you do want details of a game tap the game score and the ESPN game center is launched in a browser. All game times are shown in your local time.

The news is loaded from the official MLB.com news feed. I had to remove the Bing API calls because they were costing me more than I make in the ads from this app.

Removed the twitter feeds. It was about 60% of the bandwidth for the app and only 1% of people ever viewed them.

Remove the Bing APIs because they were costing me more than I make from the ads being displayed in this app. The news is all from MLB.com now.
