They've been watching the Windows Phone game for a long time, and their view on Nokia's entry was one I was looking forward to reading. The best place to start is with their round-up of the first day's keynote:
[Stephen] Elop spoke about an individual he knew who was from Beirut. This entrepreneur disliked the unorganised city, but loved it for being exciting, glamorous and sexy, "People all over the world, you and I, are shaped by our experiences". We took this as a superb metaphor for how Nokia has learned from previous experiences with the mobile market advancing beyond the reach of the manufacturer. The announced handsets today reinstates the brand as a force to be reckoned with once again.
Not to spoil the ending, but WP Central think Nokia are on to a winner with the Lumia 800 and 710.
