Alas, nothing to do with Doodle Jump, but a bit of a puzzler from the Xbox Live stable. In Doodle God you start with the four classic elements (Earth, Air, Fire, and Water) and have to set about combining them to create new elements. You have over 135 elements to find spread over fifteen groups, from the simple to discover "stone" to the more complicated and useful "whale". Throw in mini-games and quests, and you have a nice logical puzzle to tide you over the festive season.
From the Xbox Live description:
What's inside your Phone? Circuits, microchips, batteries? No! Your Phone is full of fire, water, earth and air! What do you do with your Phone? Make calls, send texts, check emails? Boring! With Doodle God you can create storms, build armies, grow a civilization and: drink beer!
It's a slow paced game, with a lot of serendipity as well as lateral thinking (how do you make moss), but one that makes a nice change of pace with a substantive trial version so you can see if you like the concept.
