Another simple app caught my eye in the Marketplace this morning. Lunar Phases has a very specific goal, which is to run a Live Tile showing you the phases of the moon on your Windows Phone. Which for some people is going to be a cute addition, for others it can play a large part in their lives (such as fishermen, astronomers, and Twilight fans).

The live tile shows the moon, as well as how many days since the last new moon was. The flip side of the tile will also give you the current date, which is handy if you don't have the Calendar live tile pinned, while both sides show the description of the current phase of the moon.
