3D Boat Race puts you in charge of a speed boat as you race around 100 different tracks. The game uses an accurate buoyancy physics simulation, which the developer says "makes you truly feel at the controls of a powerful speed boat". Other game feature include global leaderboards, allowing you to compare your performance against other players, and the ability to paint (customise) your boat.

Each course in 3D Boat Race is made up of a series of arches (gates) that you must pass through in order. Some of the gates are close together, necessitating sharp turns, others have jumps, which can send you of course. The skill in the game is plotting the faster possible route around the course.

The game is controlled using either an on screen virtual joystick (move your finder around the screen) or by tilting the phone (using the tilt sensors). It does take a little while to get accustomed to the game's control system, but once you do you'll be speeding round the courses.

3D Boat Race, which has been developed by A Trillion Games and is advertising supported, can be download from the Windows Phone Marketplace for free.
