During its Mobile World Congress press event, Nokia announced a new content service - Nokia Reading. This is designed to be a new content hub where users will discover text and audio e-books, along with a magazine style web feed reader. Nokia have partnered with Penguin and Hachette, and Pearson - two of the biggest publishers - for text and audio books. Which will be available  to buy on your Lumia device.

To complement its e-book service, a magazine style service, called My Stream, is included in the Reading hub, which will offer curated categories of web feeds.  In addition to curated feeds, users will be able to add RSS URLs for specific content. With this Nokia is entering a space where incumbents such as Weave have a head start.

This software is designed specifically for the Lumia range of Windows Phone 7 devices, and is yet another way in which Nokia is differentiating itself from other Windows Phone brands.

Nokia Reading will be available in April for the UK, France, German, Italy, Spain, and Russia. Other countries will follow.
