Cross country on the farm with Shaun the Sheep

Published by at

Barnstormer is a game that features Shaun the Sheep, one of Aardman Animations most popular claymation heroes, running cross country, through a farm themed landscape, avoiding obstacles, such as mud matches and bales of hay, by taking advantage trampolines and tyre bounces.

For those that don't know Shaun the Sheep first appeared in the Wallace and Grommit short "A Close Shave", but has since graduated to his own TV series

Barnstormer's controls are very simple. You control Shaun's jump and speed boost, via two on screen controls. While this sounds quite simple, in practise getting the timing right can be very tricky, especially if you have the speed boost activated. The ultimate aim is to complete each of the ten levels as fast as possible, but part of the charm is finding the different routes and spotting supporting characters and objects from the TV series.

If you're a fan of Shaun the Sheep this is a must download title, but even if you're less enamoured of our wooly friend the high production values and good basic game play should still hold strong appeal to the casual gamer.
