Unusually for a game of this type you do not have direct control over units (knights, wizards etc.) in the game, but rather place structures and set bounties to encourage them in the right direction. Herocraft refer to this as the indirect control strategy, but essentially what it boils down to is that you control the kingdom, but not the people / things that live in it.
The various units have a mind of their own (be it killing monsters, hunting for treasure or something else) and your job is to make sure they have everything they need to survive. Thus the game, like many of the best strategy games, is an exercise in resource management.
With 16 scenario missions to work through and 100 game achievements there's a lot of depth to Majesty, making it decent value for money. Moreover, this is a game genre that is relatively rare on Windows Phone, so it should be welcomed with open arms by strategy game fans.
