Flud brings social news to your Windows Phone

Matching up news stories from the internet to your personal tastes is the goal of many applications for Windows Phone, and here comes another one. Flud bills itself as a social news application, working with your friends lists and personal favourite lists to bring you the news stories you want, and the stories that Flud thinks you want to see. It's a novel solution that's worth a look.

Already a respected choice on Android and iOS devices, this free client allows you to add your friends directly (or through Facebook and Twitter); direct addition of feeds; or through your Google reader account.

it certainly offers a lot more flexibility and customisation than the Windows Phone version of Pulse does, so that along makes it worth a look, but the smart use of Metro UI elements and the re-flowing of web pages could make this a nice tool for many.
