V3 are reporting that the Phones 4U chain will begin selling the Lumia 900 in the UK on May 14th. A Nokia spokesperson has told the website that "The overwhelming demand for the Lumia 900 in the US with AT&T has, unfortunately, had a small knock-on effect on product availability in the UK". Nokia had only stated that the Lumia 900 would roll-out in the UK during Q2, but according to V3, Phones 4U had originally stated a release date of April 27th.

As stated by V3:

The change in delivery dates in the UK came after Nokia warned users in the US that the handset would be in short supply.

A notice sent out by the company said that both retail locations and online channels would be experiencing a shortage of phones as the company worked to restock the handset.

The white Lumia 900 model has been in particularly high demand, the company said.

Phones 4U will be selling the black Lumia 900, ranging from £89.00 on a £28.50 per month contract to free for a £36.00 and £41.00 per month. Also, Phones 4U have are exclusively selling the white Lumia 900 for £59.00 for both a £31.00 and £33.50 per month contract and free on a £36.00 per month contract.
