Baconit receives major update to v2.0

Published by at

Quinn Damerell continues to work on his Windows Phone Reddit client, Baconit, and has just published a major update to the code. Taking it to v2.0, the major changes in this version include the addition of a 'recent' tile, improved live tiles, better user account information (including liked, disliked, and hidden counts), along with bug fixes and a rewriting of much of the code.

The full change log can be found here on Damerell's public SkyDrive space, and it's a biggie.

The short summary is that a lot has changed, all for the better, and thanks to extensive feedback from the users. It's available as both a 100% fully functional free title (here) or a donation model with the same feature set, but allowing you to reward Damerell with a purchase (here).

We reviewed Baconit here on AAWP back when it was on v1.5, scoring it as 90%. And now it's even better... what more could Reddit fans want?
