The Windows Marketplace over your desktop web browser is now available in 22 new countries, reports Mazhar Mohammed on the Official Windows Phone Blog. Smart eyed readers will spot a lot of overlap between the new countries in the Marketplace and the roll-out of devices like the Lumia 610 from Nokia.

The new countries are:

Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Croatia, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, Venezuela, UAE, Bahrain, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Israel, Thailand, and Vietnam.

There's also a little reminder at the end of the blog post that people will need to update to Windows Phone 7.5 to continue to have access to the Marketplace in the next few weeks, and that Microsoft are looking at developer's keyword usage in app listings. All the details are at the Windows Phone Blog.
