Chess by Post updated to v3.1

Published by at

Jeff Cole's multiplayer version of Chess, Chess by Post (reviewed here on AAWP) has picked up a small update to v3.1. Now providing better head to head statistics, review options, and some UI changes around local multiplayer games, Chess by Post continues to be one of my favourite games to play online.

Cole has bullet pointed the changes in 3.1:

  • Added a fast rewind button to go back to the beginning of the game (fast fastforward is done by tapping anywhere on the board).
  • Now shows move numbers when reviewing move history.
  • Updated head-to-head to include wins/draws/losses record of your opponent.
  • Added option to flip the black and white pieces upside down in the handoff mode when it is black's turn.
  • Added an automatic list of previously played opponents to the create new username game view.
  • Fixed so that head to head view lists stalemate games correctly.
