If you're looking for a cinema app for your country we suggest you invesigate one these apps: Flixster (USA, Canada, Australia, UK), SA Movie Guide (South Africa), Hoyts Movie Times (Australia), eVents Cinema Times (Australia), Dubai Cinemas (UAE), Belgium Cinema (Belgium), Metroplex (Indonesia), MalayasiaCinema (Malaysia), Vietnam Cinema (Vietnam), Allo Cine (France), MyMovies (Italy), MyMovies (Czech Republic), Cineplex (Austria), Screenrush (UK), SensaCine (Spain), and FilmStarts (Germany).
In the Cineworld UK app you can either look for a specific cinema and see what films are showing, or look for a specific film and see which cinemas it is playing at. Both films and cinemas can be browsed via alphabetically sorted lists found on the respective pages of the app's opening pivot view. If you browse by cinema you then pick from a list of available films, whereas, if you browse by film, you then pick from a list of available cinemas.
In both cases you'll be shown a performance page, which lists the days on which your chosen film is being shown at your chosen cinema. Tapping on any of the listed days shows a list of timings for that day, together with availability and seat type information. A "Book now" button takes you to the Cineworld website where you can order tickets. The purchasing process is not integrated into the app because Cineworld UK is not an official app, but rather a useful shortcut from an indie developer.
These unofficial Cineworld apps will not be winning any design awards, but they do present film listings in a format that's much more accessible (and faster) than trying to browse the full Cineworld website from your phone.
Cineworld UK and Cineworld IE, which have been published by Invoke IT Limited, can be downloaded from the Windows Phone Marketplace for free.
