Camper, a Windows Phone client for 37signal's Basecamp, a web-based project management service, is now available in the Marketplace. The app, which has been published by Inova IT (a third party), gives access to many of BaseCamp's key features allowing you to view and interact with your current projects and includes support for offline usage.

Camper includes supports for multiple Basecamp accounts, which is handy if you have both personal and corporate accounts, or are given access to a third party's account. If you set up multiple Basecamp accounts you'll be asked which account you want to use when the app starts up.

Once you've selected a Basecamp account (or have only configured one account), the app shows a summary of current Basecamp projects for that account, with an overview of current participants, discussions, to-dos, files and documents. Tapping on a project opens up an panorama with additional detail on the project's current status. From here you can access additional project details, as well as submit new information, set new milestones and send messages to project participants.

Basecamp project management is based around a combination of to-do lists, milestone management, file sharing, time management and a messaging system; all of which are supported in the Camper app. The Camper app makes good use of the Metro design language, with clean design and minimal clutter. Innova IT have done a great job of translating the ethos of the web version of Basecamp to mobile, something that's likely to appeal to the typical Basecamp user.
