The ESPN Radio app lets you listen to ESPN audio content (radio, podcasts, live play-by-play) from your Windows Phone device. The app combines live Internet radio (simulcast with FM and satellite radio), with on-demand content from popular ESPN shows and podcasts, to offer comprehensive sports coverage in the US and Canada.

The audio content available in the app includes:

• As live internet broadcasts of over 35 ESPN Radio stations around the country.
• On demand streaming of ESPN shows like Mike and Mike in the Morning, The Herd with Colin Cowherd, The Scott Van Pelt Show, The Michael Kay Show and many more.
• Play-by-play from some of your favorite college and professional sports teams.
• On demand ESPN podcasts including The B.S. Report with Bill Simmons, Pardon The Interruption, Around The Horn, Fantasy Focus and Tony Kornheiser Show.
• On demand streaming SportsCenter, a round up news bulletin, which is updated every 20 minutes.

The on demand content can be downloaded for listening when the device is in offline, or in an area with poor signal coverage. Stations can be marked as a favourite, making them accessible from "my stations" menu entry on the opening page. Each radio station gets its own page, with information about what's on live, what's coming up (schedule) and surrounding Twitter discussion.

ESPN should keep North American sports fans very happy. There's a wealth of content on offer, in an easily accessible format, with a decent number of extra features over and above traditional radio broadcasting.
