To be honest I'm surprised at just how much I've been using XE's Currency Converter since reviewing it late last year (you can find that here). That's probably down to the travel I've been doing to the US and around Europe, but knowing I have the app on the phone and it'll be there when I need it has been valuable.
As I closed that review, I wondered when I would ever use the app in anger - and that's where the real world, over the last ten months, has actually proven that it the app is useful, even if the numbers are not identical to those I find in the currency exchanges, or I can't get the live details because I am roaming internationally.
The addition of the live tile, showing the top currency exchange on your defined list, gives you more glance and go information and a quick memory jog so you can work out the cost of everything as you travel.
