In fact, Ofcom say that 95% of mobile complaints are from monthly contract users and mobile customer complaints continue to be driven by disputed charges and customer service.
To put the quantity of complaints into context, Ofcom report that, "over the previous 12 months, no provider has consistently received more than 30 complaints per month".
Ofcom consistently received the most complaints about Three UK, which scored a quarterly average of 0.13 complaints per 1000 customers. Meanwhile O2 consistently received far less complaints than any other provider with a quarterly average of just 0.02 complaints per 1000 customers. To give context to these figures, the quarterly combined average number of complaints for every other mobile provider listed was 0.05 per 1000 customers. Note that a provider must generate more than 30 complaints a month to be included in Ofcom's report.
