Two new Xbox Live games have arrived in the Windows Store as Nokia exclusives. If you have a Lumia handset, you can download the official Windows Phone versions of Risk and Connect 4. As always, trial versions are available so you can decide whether to buy the applications and carry on playing.

Connect 4 offers the new challenge modes and power chips available in the boxed version. It also makes every attempt to recreate that physical experience as you see the box being opened on your smartphone screen, lifting out the Connect 4 grid, and have your chips stacked in front of you.

The Windows Phone version of the game has both a single player (versus AI and challenges) and multi-player modes. In multi-player you can play over WiFi (local only) or via pass n' play (hand device around). It's a shame that an online multi-player mode wasn't included, given the Xbox Live status of the game.

Just as in Nokia's previous Xbox Live exclusive, Mirror's Edge, Connect 4 been developed by Electronic Arts, one of the companies that Nokia have partnered with to provide apps and services to Lumia users.
