Just as the FCC gives the world a heads-up on US smartphones, China's CCC Certification can bring to light some interesting news as well. WP Dang has picked up the Nokia Lumia 920T from the CCC reports, which means a TD-SCDMA variant of Nokia's Windows Phone flagship should be in stores in the near future.

Because of the unique 3G implementation on China Mobile, it's never a sure thing that the latest and greatest smartphones will make it on to the network. Given Nokia's recent focus on China across their portfolio, and a probable launch of the 920T in December, the certification is not unexpected, but it is welcome.
