It may well be that you still regard that 'Bing Search' control icon at the bottom right of your Windows Phone as something of a waste of space, but don't be too hasty to dismiss it. For Windows Phone 8, Bing Search has got quite a bit cleverer, in particular using Facebook integration to pick out 'for you' picks for things to do, places to eat, applications to download, and so on, all based on what you're friends (and friends of friends) have liked and 'checked in' at. In the video below, Bing’s Stefan Weitz demonstrates all these functions at a fair old lick - blink and you'll miss something!
