The apps opening panorama has three sections, one for news, one for reviews and one for Twitter. The last of these list the latest tweet from the WiredUK account, but it's currently rather superfluous as the majority of tweets are pointing to stories that are available within the app itself. That's not really the fault of the app, but rather a reflection of the way Wired UK, quite reasonably, is using Twitter as a broadcast mechanism for its content.
The content pages use an embedded web control, which means links within the story can easily be followed, but these open in app itself, which isn't really ideal. On the plus side the use of the web control does mean that basic formatting it supported, making the most of Wired UK's high quality content.
Condé Nast Digital has two existing app for its Vogue and Glamour magazine. If you read either of these titles, then you may want to check them out. They're similar in style to the Wired News app, but obviously have a different content focus.
