This is perhaps not surprising given their respective marketing budgets across the world. I am intrigued that Samsung can still show up with 0.3% of the traffic. While the Ativ S is not yet publicly available, it will still be going through testing around the world's networks. And of course we don't know how many data points that AdDuplex have used to generate the data.
I also want to highlight the numbers for Windows Phone as a whole, which can be related to active handsets in day to day use. While the Nokia Lumia 710 and Lumia 800 are the two best performing handsets, the third place handset is the budget friendly Lumia 610, which is almost on a par with the Lumia 800.
They also address the statement from Microsoft's Todd Brix (Senior Director of the Windows Phone Apps Team) that there are four times as many Windows Phones being sold than the same time last year. Looking at the number of users using an AdDuplex enabled app each day, there is a clear upward trend, and the number of dailyusers is around 3.5 times greater in 2012 than in 2011. It's a fuzzy number, but it does corroborate the general sentiment from Redmond.
More details, numbers, and pie charts can be found on AdDuplex's blog post (and a tip of the hat to Paul Thurrott).
