Pop Star is another in a long line of titles where you remove blocks of colour from a grid, one shade at a time, scoring points as you go. This implementation from Sang-hyun Baek, has been well recieved on iOS and Android, and has now been ported to Windows Phone.

There's nothing funny or added to the expected gameplay, but sometimes that can be a good thing if the developer has a keen eye, which is the case here (although some sound effects in the next update would be welcome).

From the directory listing, the two rules are explained in more detail... well, enough detail to play the game, there's not a lot to describe, which is the hallmark of a good genre title.

• Just tap two or more blocks of the same color.
• There is no time limit, but each stage has target points to proceed to next stage.
