Over on WP Central, George Ponder reports that the Dell Venue Pro, one of the few Windows Phone handsets with a physical 'qwerty' keyboard, has the Windows Phone 7.8 update waiting for it.

The vertical slider helped the Venue Pro stand out in the first batch of Windows Phone 7 handsets, and it picked up a lot of fans. Even through Dell has withdrawn from the smartphone race, you can spot many commentators getting a little misty eyed over the form factor.
