I'm happy to see Valpak have release a coupon app for Windows Phone. Not because I've ever used the service, and nor because I think that what the web needs is another coupon service... I'm happy to see it on Windows Phone because in an app centric world, the second and third tier online services support of the WP platform is vital.

The app itself is location aware, uses the Windows Design Language, and looks pretty swish. It gets the job done for the user and for Valpak. And it lifts up Windows Phone just a little bit more as 'a platform your mobile apps need to be on'.

More of this is needed, much more, but it's good to see the fruit starting to grow on the Microsoft tended tree. And if you are looking for Valpak, its in the Windows Store!
