Jet Airways, which has a fleet of more than 120 jets, flies to more than 70 destinations (52 domestic and 21 international) in 19 different countries in Asia, Europe and North America. The airline has recently faced financial pressure, but today it was announced that UAE based Ethiad would be buying a 24% minority stake in the airline, which should ease financial pressures in the longer term. The co-incidental release of the Windows Phone app on the same day as the announcement of the alliance with Ethiad will not get the same attention, but it should still please Windows Phone device owners who regularly fly with the airline.
