Pic Stitch is a simple photo editing app that aims to help you create the perfect photo collage for sharing with friends via email or social networks. The core functionality combines multiple photos into a single "beautifully framed picture". There's support for 32 different layout and 12 different photo sizes (aspect ratios), allowing for a great deal of flexibility and creativity.

The app also includes photo filters so you can give images a unique look, the ability to customise photo borders (size, type, colour), and includes built in support for sharing finished creations via messaging, email, and social networks. The end result can also be stored locally as a high resolution image file by exporting completed collages to Windows Phone's Photo hub.

Pic Stitch is notable because its a highly rated app in the iOS app store, as pointed out by Microsoft's Joe Belfiore in this tweet. In iTunes in the US the app is currently ranked in 35th place and so its arrival on Windows Phone is one further step along the app gap road. While the app is well implemented and the benefits of familiarity for switching users should not be under estimated, it is also fair to say there are plenty of similar apps already in the Windows Phone Store.
