Angry Birds Star Wars update adds Cloud City levels

Published by at

Bird flinging fans will be pleased to note that both the Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7 versions of Angry Birds Star Wars has been updated to version 1.2, adding the Cloud City World and Boba Fett Missions to the game. These levels were added to the iPhone and Android version of the game at the end of March, so, in terms of the release schedule, the Windows Phone versions of the game remain behind the times, but, on the plus side, the time gap does seem to be coming down.

The Cloud City World adds the first set levels from the new world (level category), with further levels to be unlocked, via another game update, at a later date. The Bobba Fett Missions are unlockable levels, similar to the R2D2 and C3PO bonus levels in the original version of the game, which are activated by collecting hidden rocket packs.
