Microsoft is due to announce the details of its next generation Xbox console tomorrow at 10am PST (6pm BST, 5pm GMT). Tomorrow's event is expected to focus on the hardware and the platform itself, with a follow up event at undustry event E3 focusing on the games that will launch with the new platform.

As noted by Microsoft's Major Nelson (Larry Hyb) on Twitter, you can watch the Xbox reveal on your Windows Phone 8 device using the dedicated Live Video Player app, which was amde available int he Windows Phone Store today.

Given the existing Xbox ties in with Windows Phone, most notably in the form of SmartGlass, we expect to see hear about some topics that will be of interest to Windows Phone users. Indeed, the multi-screen experience, of which Windows Phone will form an important part, is expected to be one of the key parts of the experience for Microsoft's first new console hardware offering for 8 years. If Microsoft's follow prior form, and current strategy with cross device offerings, Windows Phone will get the "first and best" integration with Xbox next generation.
