The modern philanthropist probably loves Kickstarter, where anyone can support a new project that is looking for backing. You can use the main website to watch over the projects you like, but if you are a big Kickstarter (Kicker? Starterer? KS'er?), then you might want to check out Kick Track, from Johnny Stevens.

The app has went through a number of small updates to tweak the code since it was launched earlier this year, and the current version is a really nice way to explore Kickstarter. Throw in searching and live tile support to pin projects, and information on your supported projects is always close at hand.
