The delivers news content from across the ABC network in a variety of story, video, and slide show formats. The design of the app is very much in line with Modern design principals and overall app performance is excellent. Windows Phone platform integration features include the ability to pin favourite shows to the Start Screen for easy access, and support for sharing via NFC, messaging, or social network.

The video content included in the app is a high point, combining video based reporting with live video coverage of major stories. Included in this video coverage is the Hourly News Pop, a regularly updated brief summary of current headlines, ideal for keeping up with what's going on in the news.
