Order and Chaos was one of the upcoming Windows Phone titles that Gameloft announced at the end of October 2012, and is already available for iOS, Android, and Mac OSX.
The game provides a full 3D experience, which you can explore either in either the first person or third person. It looks impressive, as these games ten to do, and part of the initial thrill will be the graphical experience.
This does mean the install is a pretty hefty one on Windows Phone, asking for over a gigabyte of storage space on your handset, which means the rule of thumb for free space to run the installation is going to be over 3 gigabytes of empty storage.
Highlights of the app, from the directory listing, are:
- 5 races available
- Choose your gender, appearance, class and talents. Thousands of skills and equipment to discover.
- A wide range of interactions: Make friends or enemies, trade, duel, communicate and more.
- Join a party or guild to become stronger and coordinate with your teammates.
- Fight against other players in 4v4 PvP matches in our PvP arenas.
- Over 1,200 quests to perform and hundreds of characters to talk to and interact with in majestic settings.
We'll have a full review in the near future, once we decide if we want to play on the side of Order (as a human or elf), chaos (orcs or the undead), or attempt to be all Switzerland and stay neutral as a mendel.
Order and Chaos is one of the higher priced Xbox Live titles ($6.99 / £5.49), but has a good free trial - the app has full functionality until your character reaches level 8 through experience.
