The Mystery Case Files are opened on Windows Phone with Ravenhearst

Following on from their first Windows Phone 8 release (the maddeningly addictive Fairway Solitaire, which has picked up a small bug fix today), Big Fish Games have brought 'Mystery Case Files: Return to Ravenhearst' to Windows Phone, a level based puzzle game.

Again going the indie route as opposed to an Xbox Live title, Mystery Case Files will find you exploring the grounds and halls of Ravenhearst as you work though 150 puzzles and the adventure unfolds before you as you look for the hidden objects in each scene.

Across all platforms, there are nine Mystery Case File (MCF) games, and while this is the first title on Windows Phone, it is actually the third title in the Windows/OSX release schedule from 2006.

Mystery Case Files

Plot wise, there's a lot going on. Here's the summary via Wikipedia:

Rumors surrounding the Ravenhearst manor in Blackpool have circulated for decades. The Queen of England has enlisted your help to solve the mystery behind the ghostly apparitions in and around Ravenhearst manor. You are provided with the recently acquired diary belonging to Emma Ravenhearst which holds the key to unraveling the history of this unsettling place, yet some pages are missing. You must venture into Ravenhearst, find the missing pages, and solve the mystery.

You can download Ravenhearst via the AAWP App Directory, although do note there's no trial version available.
