It's usually Nokia that receives the plaudits for providing exclusive apps for its Lumia devices, but both HTC and Samsung do provide a number of apps for their own Windows Phone handsets. In the case Samsung, the latest addition are Paper Artist and MangaCamera, two creative apps that will be pre-loaded on the SamsungATIV S Neo, but are now available for other Windows Phone 8 Samsung devices (i.e. ATIV S and variants) to download from the Windows Phone Store.

Both apps have been ported across from their Android equivalents, although there are a few changes in their respective feature sets and functionality. Both apps let you take an existing photo, and, by applying various filters and other techniques, create a unique image. Paper Artist lets you further modify an image with a range of brushes and pencil tools, while MangaCamera offers a number of framing options that enable you to turn a portrait photo into a manga style line drawing.
