Nokia Lumia 925 gets minor software update (10328)

Published by at

Last week a small software update started rolling out for the Nokia Lumia 925. The update, which takes the OS minor version from 10327 to 10328, was initially only available for unlocked devices, but is now available more generally (e.g. Vodafone UK). As with other updates, operator testing may mean that full roll out take some time to complete.

The update contains a number of big fixes and performance improvements. The most notable is a fix for an issue that, in some cases, was causing and unexpected lockscreen activation event (i.e. phone would lock before user specified time-out period).

The update is made available over the air, and users will automatically be notified when the update is available via a pop up dialog box. You can manually check for the update from the phone update module of the Settings app. The update requires around 15 minutes to download and install.
