Following in the footsteps Temple Run: Brave, Disney and Imangi have teamed up to release another film based variation on the popular game Temple Run. This time the film in question is Oz the Great and Powerful, which means in Temple Run: Oz you are running along the yellow brick road.

The game is more than just a rebranded version of Temple Run, although the basic concept is unchanged. For example, by following sign posts along the road it is possible to visit different locations from the film. There's also an opportunity to fly in a hot air balloon, rather than running, though the dynamics and coin collection are much the same.

The graphics of Temple Run: Oz also appear to have been improved over the original version of the Windows Phone game, although you really only get the full benefits of this on higher resolution devices (e.g. Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC 8X). Together with the Oz the Great and Powerful theme and elements, that's enough to justify the purchase price, especially if you're a fan on the never-ending game genre.
