As a way of promoting the Lumia 1020, Nokia partnered with Stephen Alvarez, a photographer for National Geographic, to create a photo shoot that explores and documents some of the dramatic natural scenery around the Grand Canyon, in the South West of the United States. The result is a collection of stunning images that demonstrate the capabilities of Nokia's flagship imaging device.
One of the images from the shoot will be featured on the inside front cover of the National Geographic magazine's 125th anniversary collector's edition, which is due out on September 15th. The full set of images from the shoot, together with a travelogue, can be seen on the National Geographic website, but we've included a few below to whet your appetite.
