Mixing in the game mechanics of 'vanishing' games like 'Bejewelled', with a dash of the puzzle element from the classic 'Vexed' game, Glass Crush asks you to simply crush all the glass on each of its 600 levels.
By switching two tiles over, you attempt to get a line of a single colour made up of three or more tiles. At which point they will be crushed and disappear, gravity will pull down the other tiles into the gaps left behind, and you might get a chain reaction if more lines are completed. Actually, you'd better get a chain reaction, because part of the puzzle in each level of Glass Crush is the limited number of moves you have to complete each level.
The first handful of levels are easy to work out by eye, and if not you only have one or two moves allowed so you could brute force the solution, but as you proceed through the game you'll need to plan ahead and think - which makes Glass Crush a pretty good puzzle game in my book, with a fast but sensible difficulty curve.
If you do get stuck, you can use a 'hint' to show you the next correct move in that game. More hints are available for rating the app, or just turning up every day and picking up a small bonus for opening the app.
Glass Crush is available now as a free download from the AAWP App Directory.
