All you need to do is get every monster onto the screen at the end of the level. Getting in the way is that pesky force of gravity, while you have a few shelves and pegs to stop the monsters (which are handily shaped into traditional forms like circles, rectangles, and squares) falling out the screen and ending the level.
Let one monster fall, and the level is over. And once you get them all on screen, they need to stay on the screen while the end of level time kicks in. The key is building a stable structure, but that's not easy when the game throws you all the circular monsters to start with, and a tiny V shaped platform to build up from.
And if you want to get the '100% completed' on each level, you'll need to build up your monsters so they reach the leg of chicken that is high in the sky - and as you would expect it's awkwardly placed.
And if the two hundred plus levels that come from the developers are not enough for you, there are countless levels that are available to download that have been created with the built-in level editor by other gamers.
Monster Stack 2 is well presented, with primary colours everywhere, a design of monsters that preserves their basic shape but also imparts a anthropomorphic look to them, increasing the appeal of the game.
