At a press event held at the O2 in London, Nokia and Telefónica announced a 64G version of the Nokia Lumia 1020, which will be exclusive to Telefónica's O2, Movistar, and Vivo networks. In the UK, Germany, and Spain the device will go on sale on the 25th of September, with online pre-orders accepted from tomorrow (13th September).

The 64GB version of the Lumia 1020 will be able to store at least 3000 photos, or six hours of HD video. 02 in the UK will be offering the Lumia 1020 for £37 per month. O2 expect this to be competitive with the Lumia 1020 on other networks (i.e. there will be little or no premium for the 64GB edition). In the UK there will also be a photography accessory bundle included with the Nokia Lumia 1020.
