The mash-up of Maps+ picks up an update

Published by at

Maps+, a third party Windows Phone mapping client which mixes in elements from Bing, Google, and Nokia, has been updated with a small bugfix after the 8.6.4 release which added in point to point directions.

Taking Bing maps as its starting point (which has been replaced by Nokia HERE Maps on the Lumia handsets), Maps + pulls in data and functions from a variety of sources and API's to augment the base maps.

Recent updates have included the addition of 'See Inside', voice search, and Google Earth's satellite view.
