Experience yet another multiplayer word game with Angry Words

Published by at

Looking for another 'Scrabble' like multiplayer game for your Windows Phone? You might want to consider Angry Words, which has been updated this week.

The cross-platform title is available for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone, allowing you to play with your friends no matter their mobile platform. From the directory listing...

Combine the letters in your rack with the ones in the board, and use the bonus squares to get more points. You can double and even triple the value of the letters you use or the words you make! Besides, if you manage to use all the letters on the rack in one same move, Angry Words will reward you with 40 extra points.

Following the same well worn path as WordFeud, Words By Post, and Words With Friends, Angry Words has a game board with bonus squares to double or triple the scores of each letter, or a full word. You have seven tiles which need to be combined together on the board, crossword style, and the best score after all the tiles are used up is the winner.

All pretty standard stuff, but Angry Words is wrapped up nicely with smart graphics, good use of the Windows Phone Design Language UI, and is easy to use. Part of the appeal here is if the rest of your social group is using the title, in which case you're not going to be left behind in the office with your Windows Phone.
