Tetris Blitz updated with improved connectivity

Electronic Art's freemium arcade puzzle title Tetris Blitz has been updated in the Windows Phone Store over the weekend, with improvements to the online connectivity and saving user data.

The changes to v 1.1 are noted in the store listing as follows:

We’ve made some fixes for issues reported by players including crashing, problems connecting to Facebook, as well as app closure and saved data issues. Thank you for your patience and we hope you enjoy the improved Blitzing experience!

Tetris Blitz is a competently coded version of Tetris that works around a two minute time limit and challenges you to get the high score both on your smartphone, and against your Facebook friends also playing the cross platform title.

It's also loaded up with expensive buffs and boosters which can be collected through the in-app purchasing system. High scores have a direct relationship to the amount of paid for boosters you use (and the game has an evil trick of giving you a handful of boosters as you play to set a high score you have to try and beat).

Still, it's fast and furious, and a lot of people enjoy these IAP powered timed games. If that's you, grab the update now.

Tetris Blitz is available as a free download, find it in the AAWP App Directory just now.
