December is here, advent calendar apps are already flowing out of the Windows Phone store, and everyone is getting a 'falling snow' plug-in ready for their website. There's also another tradition that returns, which is the Santa tracker from the North American Air Defence team. Well you can sleep easy, because NORAD Santa is here!

This year's iteration of the app provides you a countdown to Santa taking off on his very busy night (and presumably switches to letting you know where he is), a movie theatre with a quick link to the NORAD YouTube page documenting the travels of the red and white one, and a library page which leads to text about Santa, his sleigh, and holiday traditions.

It even has a Live Tile that has the countdown to Santa taking off (not to Christmas, pay attention, pedantic Windows Phone user!).
