If you can remember Angry Birds Space, and the ability to slingshot around the planet, then you'll be familiar with the basic environment of Big Bang. The difference here is that your rabbid rabbits have a jet pack, which can be used to add to your velocity. But this isn't a point and fire the engine sort of game, you'll need to use the gravity of the planets to help you reach your target, be it to collect coins, extra fuel, or land on another planet on the level.
It's utterly fascinating, the physics feels genuine, and you'll need to think about accelerating as 'raising your orbit' and not 'speeding up' if you're going to get anywhere. Big Bang runs the risk of being a touch confusing in the first few levels, and perhaps the lack of trial version might help here - if you like the concept and buy the download you're going to persevere and discover the game underneath.
Here are some highlights from the features list:
- Use a bat to thrust a Rabbid into space… and control its trajectory using the jetpack and planet gravity.
- Don’t crash into the planets... unless you’re asked to!
- Explore 10 different wacky galaxies each of them offering 15 missions.
- Use our ranking system to progress with your Rabbid and unlock achievements.
- Collection coins to upgrade the jetpack and increase its power.
- Space cows, cheese planets, UFOs… Your Rabbid will have more than one occasion to scream Bwaaah…and so will you!
We'll have a full review in the near future, but for now, take off for the AAWP App Directory to download the game.
