A careful look at this casual game and you'll realise that it's styled around Angry Birds, but given a first person viewpoint behind lead character Buzz Lightyear. That's not to say Angry Birds was the first 'destroy blocks and kill the enemy' game, but it will be the one that many people will latch on to. And while the Toy Story franchise provides some great visuals that will be familiar to many players, it does feel a little... old. And yes, the iOS and Android versions came out months ago.
What does work is the physics engine which is top-notch, and the level design that balances the right mix of 'lets try this' and 'that looks impossible'.
Unfortunately there is no demo or trial version available, so if you're looking to pay it's going to be £1.49/$1.99 up front. You can find Toy Story: Smash It! via the AAWP app directory.
