The key feature of the app is providing a real-time results service (i.e. follow scores and timings as they happen), but you can use the app to access a complete schedule listing, athlete profiles, event information, and the latest news and photos.
When you first set up the app you'll be ask to specify your language, country, and favourite sports. Within the app you can also mark countries and athletes as favourites. This is used to present content in your own language and relevant to you. It's a neat touch and a very necessary one given the size and scope of the Winter Olympics.
Also impressive are the notification and reminder options that dictate whether and when you'll receive a reminder an/or be sent a push notification about medal results. For example, it is possible to set the app to only notify when your favourite athlete or country wins a medal. You can also opt to receive notifications about medal standings and emergencies.
