Here's a brief illustrated run through of Aerize Explorer Pro (AEP):
Somewhat confusingly, AEP uses a power user system of 'mounting' specific folders, for quick selection later on. It's a nice idea once you've got going and have some regular favourites, but no doubt the initial 'EMPTY' label will confuse new users!
Files are shown with thumbnails where applicable and can, as you might expect, be multi-selected and then shared, cut, pasted, pinned, and more....
Basic file details are available on any file, along with a larger graphical preview, again if applicable....
There's a lot of configurability in Settings, including the option of different control icon sets; (right) one bug I encountered is that folder that have been mounted initially show up as empty (erroneously) - I'm sure this bug will be addressed in due course.
You can buy Aerize Explorer here in the Store - note that the description shown may be changed to a generic 'Upgrade to 8.1 needed' message under some circumstances. It all depends how you access the Store, in which country and from what device. Don't worry about it though.
Note also that there's an ad-supported, function-limited version for free here, but unlocking features (Archives/Zip/Rar, Search, Backgrounds, Themes) from within this will cost more, so it's far better to bite the bullet, pay the current dollar offer price and have the full, ad-less (and therefore smaller and more streamlined) application from day one.
