Just catching up with news of interest - another Far East Windows Phone launch, another machine translation (see below) - but good to see the promised Windows Phone 8.1 devices appearing on schedule. In this case, five handsets from Vietnamese operator Q-Mobile, all coming in at amazing price points (to us), though of course the economics of living in Vietnam are somewhat different.

The Storm W610 looks the highest end of the five, in terms of specs and matches many of the Nokia/Microsoft Lumias, but with a bigger screen. Of course, there's more to a device than raw specs and we have no idea about build materials and component quality. But it's worth noting that 4 million dong is only about £110 in the UK or 190 US dollars, with these prices being 'all-in'. 

As usual, there's precisely zero chance of these handsets making their way across the world, but they still make interesting reference points, to show what can be achieved, price-wise. We live in an interesting time!
